We're at an exciting phase of growth as we continue to expand our business operations and reach new markets in the UK and USA, and are now seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and detail-oriented engineer to lead the QA and test function without our development team.

What you'll do
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for:
Establishing and evolving formal QA processes, while ensuring the use of industry-accepted best practices
Overseeing all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics and applying and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
Defining test methods and creating test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions
Test planning, execution and reporting
Acting as the key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases and coordinating QA resources internally and externally
Leading and mentoring QA team members including regular performance reviews and feedback to foster improvement and career growth
What we're looking for
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline
2+ years experience in a QA Lead, Test Lead or Test Manager capacity
Proven track record of formulating, evolving and executing testing strategies
Deep knowledge of the development lifecycle and QA methodology
Experience of working in an agile/scrum development environment
Proficiency in test management, project management and software development tools including Jira, Git, Xray and Postman
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
Excellent communication skills
A highly disciplined approach to your work, with unrelenting attention to detail
An analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
The ability to set and meet targets in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills
A proactive mindset that is always looking to drive innovation and efficiencies in the QA process
Desirable
Familiarity with QA/test processes in a cloud computing environment such as AWS
Familiarity with QA/test processes for embedded devices
Exposure to UI testing (web and mobile)
